Arts Administration Internship
The Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival is looking for an Arts Administration Intern for
the 27th annual festival effective immediately for the Spring 2018 semester.
The Arts Admin intern will learn and be responsible for :
-Work alongside fringe staff in assisting in office duties of greeting office visitors, answering
phones, and other administrative duties as needed.
-Report to the Executive Director, Development Coordinator, and Sponsorship Coordinator for
-Learn development and fundraising in a non-profit sector
-Develop budgeting and finance skills
-Gain insight into sponsorship
-Work in a strong event management field
-Be able to manage multiple projects and work independently.
-Strong Organizational skills
-Excellent Communication skills – oral and written
-Outstanding Time management – ability to set goals, meet deadlines
-Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Excel a plus but not required.
-Must be able to conduct themselves professionally with donors and VIP’s and comfortable in
public and social settings.
Interns will be asked to work in the Fringe office twice a week leading towards the Fringe
Festival May 15-29th. During the festival, it is expected that interns attend the festival.
The internship will begin in early February 2018 and will conclude on May 30, 2018, and can be
counted towards college credit. This position is unpaid. For consideration, please submit your
