David Baldree - President

David Baldree PicDavid is thrilled to be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Orlando Fringe Festival as a board member and he is so grateful to friend and fellow board member Kevin Banks for encouraging him to get involved.

With a passion for supporting the development and presentation of new works for the stage, David believes the Fringe Festival provides such a rare vehicle for bringing talented artists and diverse audiences together to experience theatre without limitations.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Mars Hill College and is pursuing an Entertainment Business Masters of Science at Full Sail University. Originally from Shelby, North Carolina, David began his career as a performer in repertory and regional theatres throughout the Southeast before exiting the stage for the production and management side of the business.

David has lived in Orlando for the past 15 years and is currently the Producer for Disney Cruise Line Entertainment, where he splits his time between Orlando, Toronto and where ever in the world the Disney fleet may be. His travels have empowered his love of good food, good wine and good theatre and they have sparked a new fascination with the Toronto Maple Leafs and all things Canadian.

Neal Renuart - Vice President

Lisa Curtis - Secretary

Orange County Public Schools, Educator

Lisa Curtis Bio PicLisa was born in a “Little House on the Prairie” -- well it was a small resort town in Iowa anyway. Her hometown, Clear Lake , IA has two distinctions: it's where Buddy Holly played his last gig (and later made an unscheduled landing in a farmer's field) and it is just next door to Mason City , the home of Meredith Wilson of “Music Man” fame.

Lisa attended the University of Iowa , graduating with a BA in Elementary Education and Spanish, with a minor in Linguistics. She taught English in Bogota , Columbia , before moving back to the U.S. to concentrate on teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). She has been an English instructor with Orange County Public Schools for over 20 years and recently received her Masters Degree in TESOL from the University of Central Florida .

When not teaching (or preparing or grading), Lisa is busy with her Neighborhood Association and volunteering for various arts/theater groups around town. Lisa spends her spare time with her husband, James traveling to all points south. Lisa and James have three boys: Ux, Pyewacket, & Peri and two girls: Mia & Maggie; all have four paws, whiskers, and like to present tiny hairballs as presents to their mom.

Lisa is honored to serve on the Orlando Fringe board. After volunteering for more than ten years and attending the Fringe for many years before that, she looks forward helping the Fringe continue to be the oldest and best Fringe in the country.

Matt McGrath - Treasurer

Matt McGrathMatt McGrath is thrilled to be on the Fringe board. He has been an avid Orlando Fringe Festival attendee for many years. He has attended the festival since it was located downtown and has watched it grow to its current location at Loch Have Park.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Matt has lived in the Orlando area for over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1998 with a B.A. in Accounting. Matt is the Vice President of lease administration for a commercial aircraft leasing company, where he has been employed for 14 years.

Each year, Matt has found himself going to more and more shows and doesn't miss a day during the week the festival is in town. He encourages not only those who are already “fringers” to attend shows, but he also promotes the fringe to newcomers. As a neighbor to the festival, he is honored to be a part of the board and looks forward to working with such an amazing organization.

Kevin Banks

Disney Theatrical Group

Kevin BanksOriginally from the Dallas Texas area, Kevin has been an avid Fringe Fan for most of its history and still remembers the days of traversing the empty storefronts in Downtown Orlando seeking Fringe venues. What a difference Loch Haven park makes!

Kevin graduated from Texas A&M University Commerce with a Bachelors in Marketing. Before moving to Florida, he spent 11 years in retail with the Texas department store Sanger Harris (that changed to Foley's, and is now Macy's). In 1989, he left retail and moved to Florida to work for Disney. After spending 21 years at Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line, he now resides in New York City and works in marketing for Disney Theatrical Group above the historic New Amsterdam Theatre.

When not at work, Kevin likes to spend time exploring New York, discovering new restaurants, and of course - taking in Broadway and the local theatre scene.

Even though 1,000 miles away, Kevin is very excited to continue to be a part of the Orlando International Fringe Festival Board - especially now that the festival is turning 21! "In past years, as a Board Member, volunteer, and patron, I got a very different point of view of the festival. I love getting to know the patrons, amazing volunteers, and especially several of the artists. I think that Orlando Fringe is one of the most important annual cultural events in Central Florida. I am proud to be an advocate for an event that brings together such a diverse group of people in a very unique way that supports all forms of art."

Devin Dominguez

Devin Dominguez Bio PicDevin Dominguez is a native Floridian who has made Orlando her home for the last ten years largely due to its vibrant arts community. She studied Humanities at UCF and is currently Development and Audience Services Manager for the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park. You may also recognize her from her previous work at the Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando Public Library or Mad Cow Theatre.

With all the great arts in this community, Devin still claims Fringe as her favorite 12 days of the whole year. She is excited to help the Orlando Fringe mark its’ historic 20th Anniversary – and encourages everyone to bring a new friend to experience the Fringe.

Alyson Innes

Alyson Innes PicAlyson has always enjoyed and been a supporter and patron of local theater, music, and the arts. Over the last several years, Alyson has participated in Fringe as a patron and a performer. Her son and his friends look forward to participating in Kid’s Fringe each year. This is her first year serving on the Board and is ecstatic to be part of the Fringe planning. When not hanging around a theatre, Alyson practices her skills in a courtroom as a commercial litigation attorney and mediator for Cole, Scott & Kissane.

Heather Wilkie

Non-Profit Management

Heather Wilkie Bio PicHeather Wilkie is honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Orlando Fringe Board of Directors. The theatre community is a familiar place for Heather, who grew up performing in local theatre in the small town of Meadowview, Virginia. Heather received a scholarship to pursue Musical Theatre at Mars Hill College, where she spent the first year of her college career. Heather later made the decision to work toward another dream and changed paths to study Psychology and Sociology at the University of North Carolina-at Asheville. She later moved to Orlando, Florida and earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College.

Heather was instantly drawn to the Orlando Fringe because of the incredibly talented artists and the excitement that the festival brings to the Central Florida community. She discovered the Fringe Festival six years ago and has worked as a volunteer in numerous capacities over the past few years. Spending the past seven years working for a non-profit agency, she realizes the positive impact an organization such as the Fringe Festival can have on the community.
