First seen in Orlando at the 2009 Festival, WANDERLUST is a comical, multi-award-winning, true-life odyssey, Dockery journeys from a dead-end job in New York down a dead-end road in Timbuktu, on an ever-more-desperate search for love, meaning, and a compass. His quest is for one true moment of Epiphany. Any Epiphany at all. Come see it again or for the first time!
“A tour de force, Dockery is the real deal, and Wanderlust is magical.” -Orlando Sentinel

While on vacation with his girlfriend in Saigon, Dockery discovers he has two 3 1/2-year old, half-Vietnamese twin siblings who are 36-years younger than him. High energy and theatrical, this is a wild, true tale that is hilarious, heart breaking, and a hair’s breadth away from impossible. If you didn’t get to catch it at Fringe 23 or you need to see it again, now’s your chance.
Awarded the 2014 Orlando Fringe Critic’s Choice or Best of the Festival,
“The Surprise is Martin Dockery at his finest” (On Stage: Ottawa’s Theatre Arts Magazine).
Sunday, January 4, 3:00 PM
Wrestling with monogamy and infidelity, Dockery comically travels through the land of the uber-faithful – from a religious theme park in Orlando to a Christmas Day in Bethlehem – ineptly in pursuit of something, anything, to believe in. Performed in Dockery’s energetic every-man style, this is a funny, moving, and ultimately uplifting true story about desperately negotiating boundaries, both with those who hold our hearts and those who hold our passports.
