Marketing and Social Media Internship
The Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival is looking for Marketing and
Social Media Interns for the 27th annual festival effective immediately for Spring 2018
The social media intern is responsible for:
-Assisting with management of Social Media Accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and
other social media platforms using various Social Media tools.
-Planning, writing, and scheduling posts for Social Media.
-Developing Visual Content, Infographics, and flyers for use on Social Media.
-Constructing a strategic plan to engage current and new followers on a more frequent basis.
-Other duties as needed.
-Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator for additional assignments.
-Experience with social media outlets
-Strong Organizational skills
-Excellent Communication skills – oral and written
-Design skills are preferred but not required.
-Outstanding Time management – ability to set goals, meet deadlines
-Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other flyer/image software is a plus.
-Experience with Adobe After Effects is not required by a plus.
-Personal Computer, preferably a laptop that can be used by you at the Fringe office.
-Access to Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred but not a requirement.
Interns will be asked to work in the Fringe office twice a week leading towards the Fringe
Festival May 15-29th. During the festival, it is expected that interns attend the festival. A
schedule for the intern in terms of days and hours during the festival is negotiable.
The internship will begin in early February 2018 and will conclude on May 30, 2018, and can be
counted towards college credit. This position is unpaid. For consideration, please submit your
