Serenity Hawkfire is a narcissistic New Age guru with an ego the size of Chicago … and she’s on her ‘Humble Guru Tour’ across America, determined to save souls with her Beyond Being Workshop.

Join Serenity in this perfect parody of a New Age workshop. It’s Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding meets New Age – a completely hilarious evening of very interactive theater that freely mixes scripted material with improve.

Audience members are welcomed into Serenity Beyond Being Workshop with personalized nametags and cups of Compost Tea (‘Remarkably cleansing!’). Then the fun begins as Serenity receives a message from God (a close personal friend) that a producer of the ‘Good Day Ahead’ network TV show may be in the audience … so she attempts to wow him. Eventually the entire workshop goes to hell as Serenity loses it amidst more and more outlandish moments of New Age hilarity.

Along the way, real audience members and actor-plants are ‘worked on’ by Serenity through various techniques including ‘The Silencer’ (duct tape across the mouth) and Serenity’s infamous ‘Healing Wa Wa Dance’. Serenity also uses real audience members to demonstrate her Psychic Songology skills.

And did we mention that periodically Serenity must stop everything to talk to her mother? Her philosophy is delivered via original, quirky songs including ‘The Ballad of the Codependent Guru’ and ‘You’ll Be Better When You’re Dead’.
