Cast List and Bios (In order of seniority)

Eric Yow (Artistic Director, Choreographer, Dancer) was born in Wilmington, N.C. While growing up he not only studied dance but was deeply involved in musical training as well. Enrolling at North Carolina School of the Arts as a double music major, playing both the oboe and clarinet, he later transferred to the dance department where he first discovered his true love for modern dance. After graduating with a diploma in dance, he moved to New York City to attend the Juilliard School. Yow has performed with the Martha Graham Ensemble, Leah Kreutzer Barber, and the Thang Dao Dance Company. He has also worked in Indianapolis with David Hochoy’s Dance Kaleidoscope. During his time with Dance Kaleidoscope, he had the opportunity to spend his summers performing at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Ore.

Yow’s most recent experience has been with Pascal Rioult. Yow was awarded many opportunities to teach and set work in a variety of different settings. His teaching ranged from schools and summer residences to working with professional dancers on repertory. He was chosen to stage Rioult’s renowned “Wien” on Dance Kaleidoscope. Within the Central Florida community, Yow has taught at the Orlando Ballet School, Dr. Phillips High School and In Motion Dance Project, as well as held the former position of artistic director for Orlando’s Voci Dance Group.

Yow is ardent about sharing his work with the Central Florida community again. His creative vision, life experience and extensive background in music breathe life into his choreography. He intends to instill the community with a rich appreciation of dance and culture through his meticulously created and highly musical work.

Christin Carlow (Director of Education, Dancer) attended Jacksonville University on scholarship where she received her B.F.A. in dance. She has also trained at the American Dance Festival and with the Sarasota Ballet and the Mark Morris Dance Center. She has had the pleasure of performing in works by David Dorfman, Alvin Ailey and Jawole Zollar. Other credits include Chen and Dancers, Ballethnic Dance Company, Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Notes in Motion, Avodah Dance Ensemble and Voci Dance Group. Her own work has been shown at the Florida Dance Festival, American College Dance Festival and the Orlando Fringe Festival. Carlow is also a certified Pilates instructor.

Christy Andrilla (Dancer) started dancing at the age of 4 in Michigan. She then continued her training in Orlando and Tampa and graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in dance from the University of South Florida. Since high school, she has had her choreography showcased at the American Dance Festival and the Florida Dance Festival. She is happy to have been a founding member of Voci Dance Group. She currently teaches at The Dancer’s Pointe and works at Walt Disney World as a staging specialist. Andrilla is thrilled to be performing after taking time off to start a family. She thanks Eric for giving her this opportunity.

Julie Colombino (Executive Director, Dancer) graduated in 2003 from Florida International University with a B.A. in dance performance and building communities through the arts. She then received her master’s degree in nonprofit management from the University of Central Florida in 2008. She currently is working as the manager of community participation for the Heart of Florida United Way and working on her graduate certificate in emergency management. Colombino has had the pleasure to volunteer as a dance teacher for several different marginalized groups in Africa as well as for children living at the Coalition for the Homeless in Orlando. She is privileged and honored to dance with Yow Dance.

Melissa J. Dixon (Administrative Assistant, Dancer) is honored to be dancing with Yow Dance. She was a dance major on scholarship at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa., and has worked internationally as a dancer/singer/actress/model. Some credits include being dance captain for two shows and performing in five others at Walt Disney World, performing with Dafmark Dance Theater Company in Erie, Pa., and Voci Dance Group in Orlando, Fla., and playing the roles of Cassandra and Tantomile in CATS. She recently received her B.A. in English with a minor in communications from Southeastern University and works in the editorial department for ESPN/BASS publications.

Cassá Dean (Dancer) is a native of New Orleans, where she studied under Chase Ziblich and Ferdnand Jackson. Recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in performing arts, Dean has worked with many prestigious choreographers and dancers. She has recently appeared in Debbie Allen’s production of Brothers of the Knight and is currently performing at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Forecourt Stage in Dream Along with Mickey! She is ecstatic about making her debut with Yow Dance!

Christina Heldreth (Dancer) is a dancer/singer/actress/model who has attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, Virginia School of the Arts, The University of Richmond and Radford University, culminating a bachelor’s degree in dance. Some of her credits include the Columbia City Ballet, The Lost Colony, The Rosie O’Donnell Show and Walt Disney World. She is also trained and certified in STOTT Pilates and yoga. Heldreth performs daily as an aerialist dancer in Disney’s Festival of the Lion King.

Jennifer Wolfe (Dancer) hails from Houston, Texas, and is thrilled to work with Eric Yow again. She graduated from Texas State University in 2005 with a B.S. in dance and a minor in mass communications. She has 23 years of training in multiple forms of dance. Her professional credits with Walt Disney World are Tarzan Rocks!, High School Musical Pep Rally, Storytime with Belle, and Dream Along With Mickey. She also works at Universal Studios Florida, where she performs as a singer/dancer/actress at City Walk's Rising Star Karaoke Club, Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Bethany Campbell (Dancer) was born and raised in Plantation, Fla. She has danced in production shows on the cruise ship Celebrity Galaxy, traveling throughout the Caribbean and Europe. She also has performed in Circo Luci, a cirque-type production near Nagasaki, Japan. Campbell currently performs in Dream Along With Mickey at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Beauty and the Beast at Hollywood Studios, and at Universal Studios has played Miranda in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure and a high-kick dancer in its Macy’s Parade. Campbell is very excited to join Yow Dance and looks forward to an amazing season dancing with wonderfully talented dancers.

Elizabeth McGee (Dancer) graduated in 2007 from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in rhetoric & communication studies and dance. She has performed with Ballet South, the Orlando Ballet School and the University Dancers, where she served as the co-captain and had the opportunity to work with many prominent choreographers and companies. She also trained at the American Dance Festival and at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland. Her own work has been shown at the American College Dance Festival, the Modlin Center for the Arts in Richmond and at Happenstance V. McGee is thrilled to be back in Orlando and dancing with Yow Dance.

Kelly Marie Reindel (Dancer) started performing at age 7. She began recording demo vocals for Pioneer Drama and performing in musicals such as West Side Story at the age of 15. She graduated with a B.A. in dance and history from Colorado State University. During her college years, she spent two seasons dancing for the Colorado Eagles Hockey team and High Performance Dance Company. She has taught at various studios and schools, including Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Colorado State University, Mountain Dance, The International School of Denver and Gotta Dance. Currently, you can find her dancing in Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Reindel is thrilled to be dancing with Eric and his incredibly talented dancers.

Brandi Wines (Dancer) has been dancing for 16 years at Marta Dance Studio. She has been named youth dance ambassador, star title performer, dance troupe dance idol 2006 and has been a back-up dancer for the Fleet Experience Show. She also performed in Hairspray at Universal AMC Theatre in Orlando Fla. In May 2006 she was crowned Miss Melbourne Teen USA 2007. To benefit the March of Dimes, she organized, promoted, emceed and performed in Dancing for Babies. In 2008 she graduated from Space Coast Health Institute for Massage Therapy. She currently is performing at Disney in the Festival of the Lion King, Block Party Bash and parades, and is excited to be a part of Yow Dance.

Iriann Velazquez (Dancer) began dancing in Puerto Rico at age 5. As a child, she represented her Orlando studio, Pro-Dance @ Showtime, on Ed McMahon’s Star Search (1992-1993). She has studied on scholarship at Florida's Dance Festival, Edge Performing Arts in L.A. and the Giordano Dance Co. in Chicago. Professionally, she has performed in Disney’s Festival of the Lion King and Tarzan Rocks! in Orlando, Fla.; The Sirens at Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.; and as part of an adage duo on the world cruise, Silver Whisper.

Gabrielle Hoffmann (Dancer) started her dance training in Lake Worth, Fla., at the age of 3. She went on to be a member of the Demetrius Klein Performance Company, which specializes in modern dance. She also performed with Anna Preston and Dancers, where she was featured in such works as “Passages” and “Paper Women.” Currently, Hoffman teaches at Ultimate Dance Florida in Melbourne in the styles of modern, ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical. She's very excited to return to the stage and is grateful for the opportunity to perform with Yow Dance.

Tameika Green (Dancer) is a native of Atlanta, Ga., where she started dance at the age of 3. Training at the Doris Russell School of Performing Arts, she took ballet, tap, jazz and pointe. She attended North Atlanta High School of Performing Arts in the dance magnet program. She received a B.F.A. in dance from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Va., in 2006. She went to the Alvin Ailey school summer intensive program in 2003. She is now currently a performer for the Walt Disney World Company, dancing in many roles and shows, such as the Festival Of The Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, High School Musical 3 and the Block Party Bash Parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Green is very excited about joining Yow Dance.
