Orlando is proud to be the host city for the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF) and the United States Association of Fringe Festivals (USAFF) annual conferences. “Since Orlando Fringe is a member of both CAFF and USAFF, it seemed logical to host both conferences back-to-back”, said George Wallace, Vice President of CAFF and Executive Director of Orlando Fringe. Wallace continued, “This is also the first time that we will have executives from a majority of both Canadian and American festivals in the same room together.”
A total of 70 Fringe leaders will be in Orlando from November 5-9, taking part in brainstorming, networking and breakout sessions, as well as holding their annual general meeting to elect officers and committee chairs. The CAFF Conference is scheduled from November 5-7 and USAFF from November 8-9. Orlando Shakespeare Center will be the host site, and Orlando Comfort Suites will once again be the official hotel sponsor of this event.
The Fringe leaders from North America will be at both the Beatnik Squared and TJ Dawe performances (information and ticketing below) on Friday November 7, so please come out and support the Orlando Fringe and meet the CAFF and USAFF representatives.
Representatives from the following North American cities will be in attendance:
