The Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival is looking for Production interns for the 27th
annual festival effective immediately for the Spring 2018 semester.
Our goal is to create a learning environment for students interested in nonprofit administration
and theater/entertainment production. Throughout the semester interns will receive hands-
training in all aspects of the Orlando Fringe and assist in the operation of the 2018 Orlando
International Fringe Theatre Festival from May 15-28th.
Production interns will be responsible for:
-Working in multiple areas of Fringe such as Theatre Production, Fringe Teens, Kids Fringe,
Volunteer Coordination, and Outdoor Events Coordination.
-Assisting in planning and executing these events along with additional festival responsibilities
-Assisting in organizing the annual Unified Auditions
-Other duties as needed
-Reporting to the Festival Producer, Associate Producer, and Operations Manager for additional
-Strong Organization Skills
-Strong Problem Solving Skills
-Excellent Attention to Detail
During this internship interns will achieve the following skills:
-An over encompassing knowledge of how Orlando Fringe operates, both as a nonprofit and as a
theatre production organization.
-A portfolio of material to present to any higher education facility to represent the skills
accumulated at the Orlando Fringe
-Increased contact with the network of local and international Fringe artists.
Interns will be asked to work in the Fringe office twice a week leading towards the Fringe
Festival May 15-29th. During the festival, it is expected that interns attend a majority of the
festival. A schedule for the intern in terms of days and hours during the festival is negotiable.
The internship will begin in early February 2018 and will conclude on May 30, 2018, and can be
counted towards college credit. This position is unpaid. For consideration, please submit your
