The Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival is looking for interns for the 27th annual
festival effective immediately for the Spring 2018 semester for the technical team under the
direction of Amy Hadley.
Our goal is to create a learning environment for students interested in theater/entertainment
production. Throughout the semester interns will receive hands-training in all aspects of the
Orlando Fringe and assist in the operation of the 2018 Orlando International Fringe Theatre
Festival from May 15-28th.
Interns will have the opportunity to shadow and work in the multiple technical areas of Fringe
including our on-site shows, Fringe Teens, and Kids Fringe.
-Basic production experience
-Basic knowledge of sound, lighting and video projection
-Some experience hanging and focusing lights, programming, and troubleshooting.
-Be able to patch wireless systems and troubleshoot.
-Basic understanding of Qlab.
Interns will be asked to work in the Fringe office twice a week leading towards the Fringe
Festival May 15-29th. During the festival, it is expected that interns attend the festival.
The internship will begin in early February 2018 and will conclude on May 30, 2018, and can be
counted towards college credit. This position is unpaid. For consideration, please submit your
