Sing! Dance! Play! Create! Learn!

Kids Fringe is a special part of the Orlando Fringe Festival just for kids and families! Located, for the second year in a row, in the beautiful sculpture gardens of the Mennello Museum of American Art, Kids Fringe offers performances by Fringe artists, classes, art activities and more! Kids Fringe is Free to all participants and runs 10-4 both weekends of the festival.

Kids Fringe grew leaps and bounds last year with a new location, more performers, more arts activities and almost 10,000 visitors. For 2013, we are excited to offer expanded Kids Fringe programming including the Cardboard Art Festival Matinee, City of Winter Park Earth Day, and Kids Fringe on Tour- special days that Fringe performers visit local elementary schools.  Also, pick up a free Kids Fringe Activity Book and look for a magical transformation of the Mayor Tree.

Kids and families can watch theatrical and musical performances under the big tent, take dance and drum classes under the Mayor Tree, meet robots and storybook friends at our character meet-and- greet, bounce themselves silly in our bounce house and much, much more! All of these great offerings are FREE, thanks to our sponsor Blue Man Group, and generous funding from the City of Orlando Mayor’s Matching Grant and Universal Orlando Foundation.

We are proud to present kid friendly performances by local and international Fringe Artists, and thanks to our partnerships with local arts organizations and companies we are able to offer more classes, workshops, and performances than ever!  Look for Mr. Richard, the Orlando Science Center, IBEX Puppetry, Voci Dance, 3rd Wheel Educational drumming, The Mud Flappers, Dog Powered Robot and many more!

Stop by our information table at Fringezilla’s Mainstage for the scoop on family-friendly Fringe shows, classes, workshops and performances throughout the festival. Spend a few hours at Kids Fringe, then check out a low cost family-friendly show in our Fringe Venues.

Follow Fringezilla’s footsteps down the path and check out Kids Fringe at the Mennello Museum of American Art.  Fringezilla will be waiting for you!
