Perform theatre in an non-traditional space

application

The 32nd Annual Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival takes place May 16-29, 2023.

In addition to Festival Managed theatre performances, Orlando Fringe also provides artists the opportunity to present shows in a Site-Specific format. These are considered to be “found spaces” not in a traditional theatre space. For example: outside underneath a tree, in a van, or someone’s swimming pool!

Artists are responsible for securing their location, technical, and staffing needs.

Applications will open on Thursday, September 1st at NOON EST, and close on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 5:00pm EST. Theatre Producer Tempestt will reach out to you to talk through your concept to approve.  If accepted the fee is $275 and must be paid within 72 hours of approval. The application is located in the Festival Managed section of the For Artists section of this site.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Theatre Producer Tempestt Halstead at tempestt@orlandofringe.org
