This epic story is told through catchy well known (and not so well known) songs from the incomparable song library of ABBA.

“I’ll settle for a bone of hers, yes. From wherever. From anywhere… bare bones. Or bones with clothes. I want to find her although her face the birds ate it.” Raquel is a cis Latinx woman who loses her female transgender partner to police brutality and spends her days trying to find her lover’s body scattered across the desert. Love, transgression, and resilience blend in this powerful love story.

“It is the silence that speaks to me, and I answer back.” At night, the whisper of souls crying out for justice travels with the wind and the sand in the desert. As part of a local circus, Raquel -a cis woman- and Desiré, -a transgender woman- form a loving romantic couple. One night in December, Raquel and Desiré are savagely attacked, raped, and separated by a group of heartless police officers. The teaser talks about that particular night when, since then, and after several events full of injustice and pain, Raquel undertakes a tireless and repetitive search driven by her love and a thirst for justice with a taste of revenge. In her eagerness, she will receive spiritual guidance leading her to discover secrets that will lead the story to a transcendental outcome.

Theater Company, comprised of Tracy Perry, Bill Keevan, and Patrick Prainito was founded during the pandemic pandemonium of 2021 and was a surprise hit (at least in their minds) of the 2021 Orlando Fringe with their original offering of What? The Dickens! and they are back for the 2022 event with yet another take on the Charles Dicken’s classic with Who! The Dickens?
