In a word, fringe is "unique"

The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival is a 14-day immersive cultural experience held annually in mid-May, featuring 850 ticketed theatrical performances and a free outdoor music festival. Loch Haven Park serves as the main campus for the festival, though in recent years programming has expanded to venues in nearby Ivanhoe Village and Winter Park. The festival unites local, national, and international artists with the Central Florida community, creating a uniquely diverse arts experience.

As the longest-running Fringe theatre festival in the United States, Orlando Fringe is founded on being:

100% UNCENSORED; you never know what the artists will say or do. The artists have full control over their performance.

100% UNJURIED; performers are chosen at random by a lottery, providing equity among artists.

100% ACCESSIBLE; ticket prices range from FREE TO $12.We keep the price low so you can check out multiple shows.

100% INCLUSIVE, we are an environment where everyone is treated with love and kindness. We welcome anyone regardless of their age, gender, the color of your skin, religion, who you’re attracted to, or anything else.

100% OF ALL TICKET SALES are returned to the artists giving artists monetary resources to continue creating art.

ORLANDO FRINGE IS A SAFE SPACE. We are committed to striving towards a respectful, safer environment free from harassment, violence, discrimination, bullying, and abuse. Participation in activities or behaviors that discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, age, marital status, religious beliefs, citizenship, mental and physical abilities, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated.

fringe is more than theatre

Outdoor Stage

There’s nothing better than fantastic live music under the stars. Every night of Fringe is filled with free live performances on our Outdoor Stage.

The Free Outdoor Stage is home to The Swamp Sista La La, Jambando, Southern Fried Sunday and many more themed nights.

At Fringe,  you could hear jazz, Latin, Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Folk, and even Tiki by a group of ukulele players.
