Physical Accessibility
All Fringe-managed venues are fully wheelchair accessible, although some shows are site-specific in locations chosen and arranged by the individual performer and wheelchair access may be limited in those venues. Please take a look at the information below for further details.
Priority Seating
If you require priority seating to view any performance, please let our volunteer venue captain know when you arrive. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before showtime, and you will be granted priority access to the venue.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome in all areas of our venues that are open to the public. Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the showtime and check-in with the volunteer venue captain to be granted priority access to the venue.

All entrances to the lawn are accessible by a sidewalk.
Any food truck or beer tent access can be reached from the sidewalk.
There will be accessible tent seating, and also some accessible Party Pods.
If you need any additional assistance while navigating the lawn please do not hesitate to ask a staff member or volunteer.
Blue, Orange, Pink, Red, and Yellow Venues

Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the show time and you will be granted priority access to the venue.
PARKING:
There are rows of handicapped parking in front of the entrance to the Shakespeare building.
OUTSIDE ENTRANCE:
The parking lot is made of cobblestone and the ground is uneven. You’ll step onto the sidewalk, or there is a dip for wheelchairs and can go up the main entrance, or there is a smaller ramp with handrails on the right-hand side. The entrance is somewhat steep. There are automatic doors that have a button on the right-hand side by the guardrail to open the doors.
INSIDE ENTRANCE:
Carpeted Floor through most of the building. The building is one story, with the exception of Red Venue where the entrance is outside.
Carpeted Ramp from Upper Lobby to Lower Lobby where the Box Office is located. When you enter the building, make a right and stay straight and you will reach a ramp.
RESTROOMS:
Two restrooms, one in the upper lobby (make a right at the entrance, and they are on the right) and one in the lower lobby.
PINK VENUE:
The venue entrance is through the main entrance of the building, immediately on your left.
There is Raked Seating on carpet, and the stage is about 5 inches off of the ground.
Chairs can be removed to accommodate guests traveling in wheelchairs.
RED VENUE:
The venue entrance is straight through the main entrance of the Lowndes Shakespeare Center until you go through a second set of doors into the Courtyard. The floors will be carpeted. Once you go back outside the ground is similar to that of cobblestone, and can be uneven.
There are stairs or a ramp that will lead you to the main level. On the right-hand side, you will see a walkway to the Red Venue entrance. The ground is cemented and slightly uneven.
The venue entrance can be reached by stairs or elevator. Please let the volunteer know you will need the elevator as soon as you arrive at the venue.
The venue has slightly raked seating on hard flooring, and the stage is level with the first row of seating.
Chairs can be removed to accommodate guests traveling in wheelchairs.
YELLOW VENUE:
The venue entrance is through the main entrance of the building, turn right, on your left.
The venue has slightly raked seating on carpet, and there are spaces allotted to accommodate guests traveling in wheelchairs.
ORANGE VENUE:
The stage is set up in a thrust setting, which means there are three sides of the stage that have audience seating.
The seating is raked seating
There are designated spaces for patrons traveling in wheelchairs and their parties.
BLUE VENUE:
The venue entrance is through the main entrance, turn right. Go down the ramp on the right side, and keep walking straight until you pass the restrooms on the right, and the entrance is next on the right.
The venue floor is linoleum
The stage is set up in a thrust setting, which means there are three sides of the stage that have audience seating.
Seats can be removed to accommodate wheelchairs.

The building is one floor, and there are restrooms available to the right past the information desk.
GOLD VENUE:
There is a proscenium stage at the front of the theater, with a slightly downslope audience section.
Seats are not removable, but there are spaces in the back of the theatre for patrons traveling in wheelchairs and their parties.
