what is winter mini-fest?

Four days of Fringe fun for you

we are "unique"

3 performers on stage at Orlando Fringe

The Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest is a 4-day curated theatre festival. This year, the festival will be in-person from January 13-16 and feature ticketed theatrical performances and a free outdoor music festival.

For the first time, Winter Mini-Fest will take place in Downtown Orlando. The festival unites local, national, and international artists with the Central Florida community, creating a uniquely diverse arts experience.

This year, Winter Mini-Fest is expanding with the introduction of Mini-Digi-Fest, a 4-day digital festival taking place January 19-23. This new event will feature recordings of many shows at the in-person festival plus additional shows presented by artists that could not travel to Orlando in person.

Orlando Fringe produces the longest-running Fringe theatre festival in the United States. The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival just celebrated its 30th festival last May.  This year will be the 6th Winter Mini-Fest.

Talkbacks

At Winter Mini-Fest you get the inside scoop and a chance to hear directly from the artist. We have invited Fringe artists to hold talkbacks with the audience so you can ask questions about the show, and and learn more about their process.

Check out a talkback session in The Living RŌM in The Depot (78 W Church St). Look for which shows are participating listed at The Depot.

Visual Fringe

All pieces in our Visual Fringe gallery are for sale and 100% of the sale price goes directly to the artist.

We are also hosting artists to appear at Winter Mini-Fest to create and sell their own artwork.

Kids Fringe takes over the space and fills it with free arts and craft activities for children.
