The Orlando Fringe Board welcomes you to Winter Mini-Fest hosted at Fringe ArtSpace! We are excited to return to our roots in the heart of downtown Orlando.  Many long time Fingers look fondly back at the origins of the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival held exclusively in the downtown area. As we grow this year into Fringe ArtSpace we are excited to bring artists and patrons together during Winter Mini-Fest. We look forward to bringing a  positive impact to the community both financially and culturally. Throughout the year Fringe will be bringing year round performances and art to our new space. Enjoy your Mini Fest experience and thank you for being a patron of the Orlando Fringe!

Welcome to Fringe ArtSpace! Winter Mini-Fest is always such a great time to connect with artists and each other, and this year we are able to come together in our brand new space! With this new venture, we are putting the focus on the artist and the artistic company to grow a healthier and stronger arts presence in the community. This is a space for Artists – emerging artists/art organizations needing help shaping their craft, space to perform, mentoring about the creative process, and it’s for Art Lovers – those interested in engaging in the creative process and supporting the growth of creative opportunities in Central Florida.  We listened to the needs of the arts community, and we are happy and honored to open this space to help address challenges like affordability, accessibility and amplifying voices from a diverse population of the community, and so much more. Now go see some shows!

Welcome back to Winter Mini-Fest! This is our first in-person Winter Mini-Fest since January 2020 and we are so excited! The origin of this festival began with pulling a lineup of shows from our festival in May to return in January for an encore run. While you’ll see a few favorite shows from past festivals, I’ve also curated top artists from national and international stages for our audiences to experience. With Fringe ArtSpace opening, we are setting the stage for our Orlando audiences to watch new artists, and I know you will enjoy this wide array of experimental, thought-provoking innovative performances. Also, this is my last welcome letter as I will be departing Orlando Fringe when the curtain closes on this festival, so for my goodbye present I encourage you to see a show from an artist you’ve never met. Thank you!
